Local Indigenous artist Amy Barbara is a proud Aboriginal woman based in Meanjin (Brisbane) with blood ties to the Northern Territory. She conveys a contemporary aspect to the otherwise traditional Indigenous art style that has been passed down through her family. Amy's art shares the knowledge and spirit of her culture through visual storytelling.
