About Lump

Dash back nearly 70 years with me. I’m Lump, the plush dachshund who strolled into Pablo’s villa in sunny Cannes and came to stay. With my short legs and big personality, did I inspire the world’s most influential?

My name means “rascal” in German, and I lived up to it, trotting into the villa and claiming my place in art history. I appeared in Pablo’s work again and again, always facing left. With my soft ears and playful dachshund charm, I’m a plush tribute to art, mischief, and the idea that behind every masterpiece, there just might be a dachshund.
